La Nosta Storia (Our History)

Mr. Belfonte Pieri moved to the United States in 1958 in search of the American Dream. After working various jobs which included assistant chef, he decided to fulfill his lifetime dream with his wife Noemi of opening their own    Italian Restaurant. Using the recipes they brought back from their families in Tuscany, they opened Bacchanalia in 1979 just blocks away from their home. Mr. & Mrs. Pieri maintained fulltime roles in the business until 2000 when their daughter and son, Paula & Dante, took over the business. Mr. Pieri continued to develop new recipes until he passed away in 2006. Today Noemi still hand makes the ravioli, and the day to day operations are carried out by  Paula & Dante. While many things have changed over the past three decades, the quality and quantity at Bacchanalia has remained. We appreciate your business and hope you enjoy your meal; come back and see us soon!
